How the calculation works
The figure is produced by the single Lion Cars calculation engine, from the vehicle price through to delivery in Armenia. It covers the auction fee, insurance, the Lion Cars service fee, US-to-Armenia transport and Armenian customs charges.
The customs part is computed at the rates in force under RA law: customs duty, VAT, environmental tax and state duty. The exchange rate comes from the Central Bank of Armenia and is frozen at the moment of the calculation.
If a component is not yet confirmed, the system never invents a number: that line is marked as pending and the total is presented as preliminary.

The amounts shown are a preliminary calculation and are not a public offer. The final amount is determined at customs clearance, based on the customs value assessed by the customs authority, the vehicle condition and weight, and the exchange rate. Frequently asked questions
Why is the amount marked preliminary?
Because some charges — the customs inspection fee, for example — are only finalised at clearance by law, based on the vehicle actual weight and on what the customs office actually does.
What is the difference between an individual and a business import?
An individual import uses a single unified customs payment based on engine volume and age, and VAT is not charged separately. A business import computes duty and VAT separately, and its customs value also includes the transport cost.
